Hi, there... My name is Max. I'm a Tattoo Artist from Ukraine now based in Berlin! I grew up inspired by early 2000s fantasy culture, always sketching characters and strange creatures. In 2016, I left graphic design behind and found the freedom to express myself through tattooing.My nickname Ohrwyrd comes from the German word “Ohrwurm” and suggests something heard, a trace of a sound that lingers. “Wyrd” is an old English word for fate. Together, it represents the idea that certain thoughts stay with us and quietly shape the direction we move in.

My style

We all carry darkness within us... Fragments of instinct, memory, fear, and imagination. Not something to escape, but something to understand, to shape and make visible. My works explore that space. I see it not as something negative, but as something deep and alive.My style combines mythology, characters, creatures, insects, and elements from fantasy worlds. I often experiment with composition, letting elements float in space or merge in unusual ways. I use strong contrast, fading effects, and detailed stippling to create depth. In my works I often add spider webs, sharp thorn-like spikes, and broken organic lines. I use gradients to push contrast and depth, and a lot of dots to keep the texture a bit chaotic and not too clean. I mix solid black areas with lighter fades and small details, so the piece feels more dynamic and alive. I also like to overlap elements and break the flow a bit, so it doesn’t look too static or predictable.

Guide

ⓘ How I work I don’t copy other artists’ work, everything I create is done in my own style.Custom designs I create original pieces based on your ideas and references. If you’ve seen something you like, I can use it as inspiration, but the final design will always be unique. Before the session, I usually prepare a few design options.
Flash designs You can choose from my available flash designs (check my Instagram highlights). These are ready to tattoo. If a flash piece is already taken, I can create something similar with the same vibe.
Freehand projects These are drawn directly on your body during the session using markers. This approach works especially well for organic shapes, better flow with the body, or if you’re open to a more intuitive and collaborative process.ⓘ Prices Depend on placement, size, and level of detail.Design development starts from €50
Tattoos start from €250Every project is different, so better to reach out with your idea for an estimate. Keep in mind: small tattoos can sometimes take longer than expected, while larger pieces can go faster depending on the design.

Sleep well and eat before your appointment
No alcohol or drugs for 24 hours
Wear loose, comfortable clothing preferably black
Bring water, snacks, and something to distract yourselfⓘ Healing
Avoid sauna, pools, gym, and sun for at least 10 days
Do not scratch or peel the tattoo
Wear loose clothing to avoid irritation
Healing takes around 2 to 4 weeksⓘ Healing with Second skin
Keep it on for 4 to 5 days, then remove gently
Wash, pat dry, apply a thin layer of cream
Moisturize 2 to 3 times daily for about 2 weeksⓘ Healing with pad
Remove the previous pad and clean the tattoo gently
Apply a thin layer of a cream
Cover with a clean pad, keep it loose
Repeat 2 to 3 times daily for the first 3 days
Then continue with cream only, 2 to 3 times dailyⓘ Aftercare
Keep it moisturized daily
Use fragrance free lotion
Protect from sun, use SPF 30+ after healing
